Thank Frilly it’s Friday! #3

The sun is out and it’s only jolly well FRIDAY!!!!!! Wahoo. Two whole days of weekendy goodness lie only hours away so happy chuffing Friday to you all.

I have now joined the ranks of bespectacled wearing four-eyed geek, by which I mean I can now actually see! Whoopa for non-blurred vision, it's great! My new Chanel BFFs arrived this week and I am whole heartedly, head over heals in love.

Matching is cool
I recently stumbled upon some Topshop nail varnishes that I had completely forgotten about and realised just how much I bloomin’ love them. The most reunion love was lavished on this sea foam/turquoise/aqua marine colour that is oh-so-perfect for Spring.
Moustache mugs
In a couple of weeks time there will be an event never before witnessed by the modern world. An event entirely themed around moustaches. I don’t want to give away too much as the other attendee may well cast her pretty eyes over this post but lets just say, these fab enamel mugs and the well-moustache-endowed Tom Selleck may play a part.
Roller lesson 1
This week I learnt a highly valuable life lesson, how to get MEGA volume using rollers. My lovely hairdresser has spent years getting to grips with my wayward tresses and was kind enough to impart some of her knowledge into my completely incompetent hands. So far my home efforts haven’t even slightly resembled this but you know what they say, practise makes perfect!

Roller lesson 2

This Easter chickie bravely gave his chirpy little life to satisfy my chocolate cravings. God bless you son.

Friday Late at the V&A had a Hollywood theme this week so all guests were encouraged to dress as their favoured silver screen character. I enlisted the help of my sister Charlotte to become the main characters from Death Becomes Her - Goldie Hawn and Meryl Streep. So this is me and the girls before getting into character whilst in the Mastercard cocktail bar...

Unfortunately I couldn't work out how to turn my foot the other way so just try to ignore that part!

All in all it was a pretty darn good shindig with loads of free activities and entertainment and is an amazing way to see a different side to the V&A. They're held every month with equally wonderful themes just make sure you get there early to take advantage of the activities.
