You may have seen this little pic pop up on my Instagram a few weeks ago and may remember a pretty similar watch featuring in my Birthday wish list in September. Well I was lucky enough to receive a beautiful Olivia Burton watch on my Birthday morning from my lovely husband. It wasn’t, however, the watch I had meticulously picked out and heavily hinted at (seriously, didn’t think I could be any more obvious. Did I need to add a big flashing sign??!). So off to good old John Lewis we went to get the one I had actually wanted but unfortunately they didn’t have it in stock. After trying on a few others I spotted this pretty little face peering up from the display counter at me. Let’s just say, love at first sight does exist.
I’m a huge fan of big watch faces even though I have the most ridiculously spindly wrists! This one features three sub chrono dials with week day, date and 24-hour information on a creamy mink dial and leather band all set off by lovely rose gold plate. The leather strap is really comfortable and can be changed if you fancy a different colour for each season.
