Without doubt, the best sale purchase I've ever made

Without doubt, the best sale purchase I've ever made

I’ve been looking for a nightlight for a while as Poppy usually has her bedroom door propped open with a lamp on the landing to aid in her relocation of her favourite soft toy (Bubby) should she stir. There have been two problems with this, the first is her bedroom is next to the bathroom so as soon as we bang and clatter in there in the evening she would stir. Secondly, our house is seriously freezing, I mean sub-zero, waking up with ice blocks for hands, major refusals to have nappy changes or get changed in general and choruses of “cold, cold cold, cold” when said changes take place, but most of all the poor thing had been waking up as her room couldn’t retain any heat with the door being wide open all the time. Serious parental guilt.

I wanted something that would be in keeping with the rest of the nursery so had hoped to find a bunny or animal themed one but for the life of me I couldn’t find anything other than plastic monstrosities that were usually pretty creepy and any nice ones I did find were horrendously expensive like this £95 notonthehighstreet.com option. Ridiculous!

During my search I stumbled upon this little ceramic cutie on findmeagift.co.uk. I’d seen it on a couple of other websites for considerably more, it’s currently also on sale at joythestore.com for £60, so was pretty pleased with it’s more palatable £32.99 price tag.

It’s safe to say it has been a real hit. Poppy loves it so much that she gives it kisses whenever she’s in her bedroom and says goodnight to it every night.

The LED light that it omits from it’s bunny tail is a perfect low glow that hasn’t interrupted Poppy’s sleep at all. It’s just enough so that Pops can relocate Bubby if she stirs and also so that I can check on her through the night without needing to wedge the door open. It’s stayed on pretty much all the time since it arrived a couple of weeks ago and the tail doesn’t heat up at all.

It doesn’t look like it in the photo above but the light spreads throughout the room.

I’m not sure how long the sale price will last before it goes back up to it’s original price of £59.99 so if you’re considering it don’t delay!

Just in case you need the details…

This isn’t a sponsored post, I just wanted to share the bargainous bunny love x

p.s. The whole house will be undergoing major renovations imminently so please ignore the bare floor, uneven walls and random holes.
