Mother's day gift guide

Don’t despair! There’s still time to spoil your wonderful Mumsy.

It has been an age since my last post which I can only put down to life + exhaustion getting in the way and somewhere in that mix making some sort of success out of the work/life balance, but I’ll bore you with that in another post. This post is totally dedicated to things that Mama’s will (hopefully) love.

I’ve been making a mental note of the totally dreamy and amazing gifts around that I thought are rather Mother’s day appropriate so here are my absolute faves. And if you’re thinking it’s a load of consumer driven dribble then have a big old word with yourself. Mother’s are seriously seriously amazing and I for one want to show my appreciation as I know really I don’t show it often enough. Go on, be nice, she did teach you how to use a toilet for goodness sakes, surely that deserves a little thanks? Imagine where you’d be now if she hadn’t?!

Meringue Girls Giant rainbow jar aka unicorn poo and Everything Sweet recipe book – Give. Me. All. The. Sugar. Who knew there could deb so many flavours of meringue?? This place is like Willy Wonka’s factory.

Mast Brothers Gin chocolate – This might just be chocolate perfection. Mmmmmmmmm.

Jo Malone Vitamin E Duo – The Vitamin E products are AMAZING but to be fair, anything from Jo Malone is a major winner and if you’re after extra brownie points book in for a complimentary scenting experience in store (super super lovely experience).

Hush Aqua beaded hoop earrings – How lovely are these? So pretty and delicate and are gold plate on solid silver with tiny Aqua beads. Perfect for Spring and great value.

Brora Cashmere Poncho – Who doesn’t love cashmere? This is brilliantly versatile and can be worn all year round, plus Brora cashmere is so amazingly soft.

Willow of London Flamingo and Marble phone cases – These cases are all over my insta feed at the moment and I adore them. Can’t get enough of marble at the moment!

Charlotte Tilbury Quick and Easy Chic Daytime look kit – A kit that suits every skin tone and hair colour? Can this be true? Certainly seems to be and not bank-breaking either.

Merci Maman gold or silver disc bracelet – I was lucky enough to be given one of these when the children were born and I wear it every day. The braid bracelet is comfortable and also robust enough to withstand a baby chomping on it and toddler hanging off it. It can be changed to another colour at any point and more discs added too.

A Weathered Penny Damselfly candle – This range of candles makes me laugh out loud every single time I see one. And who doesn’t like candles?

Jem+Bea Mama clutch – Tumbled leather and gold embossing, I’d happily use this in the changing bag or on an evening out. Divine!
