Mother's day gift guide

Mother's day gift guide

Don’t despair! There’s still time to spoil your wonderful Mumsy.

It has been an age since my last post which I can only put down to life + exhaustion getting in the way and somewhere in that mix making some sort of success out of the work/life balance, but I’ll bore you with that in another post. This post is totally dedicated to things that Mama’s will (hopefully) love.

I’ve been making a mental note of the totally dreamy and amazing gifts around that I thought are rather Mother’s day appropriate so here are my absolute faves. And if you’re thinking it’s a load of consumer driven dribble then have a big old word with yourself. Mother’s are seriously seriously amazing and I for one want to show my appreciation as I know really I don’t show it often enough. Go on, be nice, she did teach you how to use a toilet for goodness sakes, surely that deserves a little thanks? Imagine where you’d be now if she hadn’t?!

Monica Vinader Linea bracelet – Love the simplicity of this bracelet plus it comes with free engraving option for all those bubba initials (you know I’m all about the personalisation!), a range of thread colours, and is available in rose gold too (I love the 18t discs on gold thread).

Papier Personalised Notebooks – So many designs, so spoilt for choice! Such a bargain too. There is matching personalised stationary available for all designs as well!

Philippa Herbert silhouette necklace

Philippa Herbert charm necklace – The perfection of our beautiful children’s silhouettes immortalised in a precious metal is just pure gift perfection for me. Philippa and Sally create the most exquisite pieces be it fingerprint charms or baby feet castings.

Thornback and Peel chicken-carnation-bag-gift-set

Thornback & Peel Gift sets (currently 15% off all gift sets !) – Thornback & Peel have long been my go to for witty and fabulously designed homeware. The quality of everything they produce is just amazing.

Meringue Girls Giant rainbow jar aka unicorn poo and Everything Sweet recipe book – Give. Me. All. The. Sugar. Who knew there could deb so many flavours of meringue?? This place is like Willy Wonka’s factory.

Elizabeth Scarlett Ananas_Washbag

Elizabeth Scarlett Ananas wash bag/clutch – So darn pretty and a great price.

Bloom&Wild flower subscriptions – Having fresh flowers in the house brings me so much happiness. The selection at Bloom&Wild are stunning and with 3x month subscriptions starting from £50 it truly is the gift that keeps on giving! You can even request lily-free bouquets!

Mast Brothers Gin Chocolate

Mast Brothers Gin chocolate – This might just be chocolate perfection. Mmmmmmmmm.

Jo Malone Vitamin E Duo gift set

Jo Malone Vitamin E Duo – The Vitamin E products are AMAZING but to be fair, anything from Jo Malone is a major winner and if you’re after extra brownie points book in for a complimentary scenting experience in store (super super lovely experience).

Hush Gold hoop earrings

Hush Aqua beaded hoop earrings – How lovely are these? So pretty and delicate and are gold plate on solid silver with tiny Aqua beads. Perfect for Spring and great value.

Brora cashmere poncho

Brora Cashmere Poncho – Who doesn’t love cashmere? This is brilliantly versatile and can be worn all year round, plus Brora cashmere is so amazingly soft.

Brora cashmere socks

Brora Cashmere Socks – Total luxury…for a more manageable cost!

Willow of London Flamingo and Marble phone cases – These cases are all over my insta feed at the moment and I adore them. Can’t get enough of marble at the moment!

Charlotte Tilbury Quick and Easy day time look

Charlotte Tilbury Quick and Easy Chic Daytime look kit – A kit that suits every skin tone and hair colour? Can this be true? Certainly seems to be and not bank-breaking either.

x-personalised-disc-bracelet-merci-maman

Merci Maman gold or silver disc bracelet – I was lucky enough to be given one of these when the children were born and I wear it every day. The braid bracelet is comfortable and also robust enough to withstand a baby chomping on it and toddler hanging off it. It can be changed to another colour at any point and more discs added too.

A Weathered Penny DamselFly candle

A Weathered Penny Damselfly candle – This range of candles makes me laugh out loud every single time I see one. And who doesn’t like candles?

Jem and Bea Mama clutch

Jem+Bea Mama clutch – Tumbled leather and gold embossing, I’d happily use this in the changing bag or on an evening out. Divine!

Koia London Spa

Koia London – If you’re buying for a Mama-to-be then you absolutely cannot go wrong with a pregnancy massage at Koia London. Special beds to accommodate bump and boobs plus technicians who really listen to you and deliver the most incredible massages.

But if you’re really stuck after all of the above then book her in for a blow dry/manicure/pedicure (be sure to provide champagne during the appointment) then cook her lunch. You can thank me later 😉
