A little while ago I did a planning post featuring all the unbelievably stunning flower girl dresses that I’d found on the high street but had kept you guessing as to the final choice made by my totally gorgeous sister-in-law.
Well, the wedding was on saturday and the secret is out! Poppy wore this divine Sarah Louise dress from Childrensalon.
The last words she said to her Aunt Harriet before they walked down the aisle were “I love you Harriet”.
Heart
Actually
Bursting
Can’t describe how proud I was to see her supporting her Aunt, listening to instructions so intently, making friends with all six grown up bridesmaids, being unbelievably polite throughout the day but mostly seeing her having the BEST DAY EVER.
The gypsophila crowns and balls were made by my fair hand after watching sooooo many youtube videos 🙂 I was pretty impressed with my handy work!
The little ivory satin shoes were from the Occassion Shoes section of the Katz website but you can also get them through Childrensalon. I decided against going for ballet shoes as thought she would need a little more support through the day as I knew she’d be running and running and running in them. She found them incredibly comfortable and didn’t get any rubbing even without socks or tights.
She straight away became best friends with the other little flower girl, the beautiful Elsa, even though they’d only met the day before, and they played and played and played and played.
Poppy loved her dress so much that she requested to wear it to the party the next day 🙂
What an angel!! You did a great job with the crown and ball!! She looks like a princess. 🙂

Awww Poppy looks soooo pretty! I love flower girl dresses, they are so magical and fairy-like aren’t they! We just had my brother’s wedding last week, so I was shopping for similar dresses for Lily, it’s so much fun isn’t it! xx

Oh wow that is so elegant and beautiful. My daughter would live in it if we bought her that. Lovely photos. Thanks for sharing with #bestandworst x
Oh your little Gremlin would be so adorable in this! No idea what to do with it now, it has a few too many battle scars to be sold on and such a shame for it to hang in a wardrobe forever xx
