Pom poms, frills and sparkles {Outfit detail}

I know it feels like Summer is dead in the water but I am still holding out hope that September will knock our socks off. And don’t forget, we have a bank holiday of amazing weather to look forward to! Pah!

Well, even if it is 10 degrees colder than it’s meant to be I am still dressing for Summer, albeit with many more layers.

So here is one of my favourite outfits from this Summer.

This Zara frill sleeve dress doesn’t look anything on the website but seriously, it’s become one of my throw-on-for-any-occassion dresses. The colour is slightly brighter in real life and it is so incredibly soft. Now, I have to warn you, it says to hand wash on the label but tbh I don’t have time for that kind of shiz so it is currently being washed at 30 degrees and seems to be fairing well. I’m 5’4″ and it sits just enough above the knee so that it doesn’t swamp but also isn’t indecent. This is a size S

I’ll be wearing it with tights and ankle boots through the colder months too.

I bought these sparkly espadrilles, which Poppy calls my mermaid shoes, in January before heading to Dubai and Sri Lanka and they’ve now sold out however, I have managed to track down these sparkly numbers which are a pretty good match and are in the sale as well as these but also have a look at these fab Next glitter espadrille wedge options.

I am so into pom poms right now and the brighter the better! I found these little beauties from New Look, the pink have sold out but they are also available in yellow and are in the sale at only £2!!! If you fancy something a little less vibrant but still love a pom then the Boohoo ones might be perfect.

Now come on Summer, give us a last hurrah!!
