As it turns out, a number of the daily practices you undergo in order to look better are probably actually harming your skin. In the long run, using lots of the wrong kind of product will actually dull your skin, rather than enliven it. Try to avoid overdoing it with soapy products, as these tend to dry your skin out over time. Similarly, applying only light make-up will save your skin a lot of damage in the long run, actually helping you to look more alive and – well, healthier.
Hair is a big part of anyone’s beauty schedule, but are you sure that you are treating it right? You might not think that the matter of staying healthy comes into it much when it comes to hair – but you would be mistaken. Actually, keeping your hair looking great is as much about focusing on health as it is about knowing how to style it. Again, make sure you don’t overdo it with the products – you should actually only be fully washing your hair around two to three times a week if you want it to be healthy. You’ll also want to consider changing up your shampoo and conditioner from time to time, as this helps to reduce the amount of damage you cause it.
