You might be aware that Poppy is rather obsessed with dresses at the moment, so much so that she won’t wear anything other than tights, dresses or skirts (at a push). Realising that we were woefully unprepared in the ‘keeping my child warm whilst wearing the aforementioned garments through Autumn/Winter’ category and being the thoroughly responsible parent that I am we embarked on a shopping trip to deck her out in long sleeved dresses and stock up on tights.
The first shop that we made it to happened to be Next and it blew us away with it’s fab A/W range so we actually didn’t go anywhere else. These are our picks of the best that we found and what we bought.
*We have previously found that Next dresses are pretty short so have sized up in everything that we’ve bought.
Red Ditsy Dress and Tights set – We bought this one and love it so much! It has had the most wear out of all of our purchases.
Grey Ditsy Frill Dress – We also bought this! It looks so much better in real life. The print is so beautiful.
Grey and Pink Check Ruffle Dress
Navy Military Dress – Couldn’t pass up this beautiful dress. The fabric and detailing is stunning. Definitely thinking this could be a Christmas party and Christmas day dress.
Floral Print Shirt and Navy Pinafore set
Red Check Kilt with Cat Tights – This set really speaks to the Clueless fan in me 😉
Navy Cord Skirt with Braces and Plum Tights – We bought this set too but it hasn’t seen many outings yet. Quality is great though!

I adora NEXT clothing. My girls have grown out of the younger girls clothing now! Which I’m so sad about as they’re all so pretty!
What lovely outfits, we are big next fans. I love the pom pom shoes but Olivia is unfortunately a wellies and trainers girl. I have brought so many shoes for her that she refuses to wear.
